choose an alert type (voice, siren or display)



Press button until “TIME” is displayed.



Press arrow until “ALT TYPE” is displayed.



Press button and then arrow to choose “VOICE,” “SIREN,” or “DISPLAY, then press button again to save.



Press to exit.

notes: “VOICE” Alert = Tone sound for 8 seconds followed by voice of weather broadcast for 3 minutes.

“SIREN” Alert = Tone sound for 5 minutes, or until cancelled by pressing any button.

“DISPLAY” Alert = No audible tone sound, only a text alert will scroll on the display.

setting the LED backlight



Press button until “TIME” is displayed.



Press or arrow until “LIGHT” is displayed.



Press button to show current BACKLIGHT setting.



Press arrow to change BACKLIGHT setting.



Choose “BLT NORM” for blue back-light to turn on when any button is pressed and off after 5 seconds,

or “BLT ON” for continuous back-light or “BLT OFF” for no back-light.



Press to save your BACKLIGHT setting.



Press to exit.
